September 21st Meeting Topic the genus Symphyotrichum (formerly Aster)

This meeting we'll cover all Symphyotrichums (in the Asteraceae or Sunflower family), many of which flower this time of year. Please bring in three plants for discussion, they needn't cover the topic. The plant quiz will cover the Lamiaceae (mint family), so have fun testing your knowledge. --- Steve

The Native Plant Workshop meets on the third tuesday of each and every month. We convene at the Miami Dade College Kendall Campus's Landscape Technology Nursery in the northwest corner of the campus.
