Enthusiastic folks who wish to learn how to identify South Florida's wild plants

May 18, 2021, May Dade Native Plant Workshop Field Trip

This month we will meet at Kendalwood Park located here.  Access is from Galloway Drive (SW87th Avenue) using SW 80th Street.  Park your car (or bicycle) along SW 93rd Court.  Kendalwood Park contains 122 taxa is primarily hammock with a few wetland affinities.  We will begin the trip at 5:00PM sharp!  Plan on an hour. 

Field Trips are FREE and open to the public.  Bring a mask (if you are not yet vaccinated), loupe, pen, notebook, and a curious mind. Binoculars are also helpful.  There are no restrooms at the park.  If you want help identifying plants from home, feel free to bring up to three.
