Dade Native Plant Workshop

Enthusiastic folks who wish to learn how to identify South Florida's wild plants

May 17th NPW topic NO LONGER lichens!!! Now it is Sapotaceae (mamey family)

May's meeting topic is no longer Lichens as Barry Kaminsky will be out of time.  I'll cover a few basics on lichens (just for fun), but will cover the Sapotaceae (Mamey or Sapote family).  Please bring in at least 3 plants, which needn't necessarily cover the topic (although lichens will be a bugger to ID, so please refrain...).

The Native Plant Workshop is FREE, and meets at 7:00PM on the third tuesday of each and every month. We convene at the Miami Dade College Kendall Campus's Landscape Technology Nursery in the northwest corner of the campus. Please park outside of the gate.
