Dade Native Plant Workshop

Enthusiastic folks who wish to learn how to identify South Florida's wild plants

March 20th's Native Plant Workshop Meeting

Greetings!  March 20th is the equinox, and the first day of spring.  Spring always reminds me of Milkworts (Polygalaceae), which is our topic for this meeting.  For a list of South Florida milkworts visit:  http://regionalconservation.org/ircs/database/search/AdvSearchbySF.asp and select "Polygalaceae" under the "Family" tab.  Please bring in at least 3 plants, which needn't necessarily cover the topic.

The Native Plant Workshop is FREE, and meets at 7:00PM on the third tuesday of each and every month. We convene at the Miami Dade College Kendall Campus's Landscape Technology Nurseryin the northwest corner of the campus. Please park outside of the gate. For a map and address of the campus click on above link or go to: http://www.mdc.edu/kendall/map.asp
