Dade Native Plant Workshop

Enthusiastic folks who wish to learn how to identify South Florida's wild plants

A nursery-grown Salvia lyrata, I presume. May be native on the west Gulf Coast, but not Southeast Florida. Some plants have a basal rosette, but this one does not. Question: Are the facts above correct? Are there subspecies or varieties of S. lyrata? Any further comments on the range?
