Quercus pumila
We have a Quercus pumila at MBC that is 15 ft. tall! We & I did not realize the significance of this size until it was brought to our attention by a visiting USDA botanist.

yes, that is quite a specimen. I've seen large ones like that in the Richmond Pine Rockland Tract
