sunbonnets, Chaptalia albicans, in the Asteraceae, native.  Herb alongside it is Acalypha chamaedrifolia (bastard copperleaf) in the Euphorbiaceae.  Grass is likely Schizachyrium sanguineum, Crimson bluestem in the Poaceae
