It is kind of difficult to tell from plant characteristics, but this is much more likely Ruellia ciliatiflora, a non native lawn weed. R. caroliniensis doesn't really occur in Dade County (R. succulenta does, but has a much larger flower, and flowers typically occur one at a time). nice lawnweed though.
