Commelina diffusa, a non native lawn weed. Differs from our native Commelina erecta by its size, leaf shape, creeping habit, and that it has three petals (C. erecta has two, and the flowers are much larger). Please note that the lawnweed in and amidst the Commelina diffusa is Ponysfoot, or Dichondra caroliniensis in the morning glory family. A native!
